Gatsby & Miller’s first hair salon is based in Amersham and the business aims to establish a chain of salons across the south of England. The founders approached us to create a brand strategy to take forward their vision of translating the latest trends into realistic, wearable styles.
What We Did //
The hair salon was a concept in its infancy and needed a complete brand strategy, from name generation and brand identity to interior graphics, website and a full range of printed material. Occupying a fantastic site on Amersham High Street, they needed to compete alongside a number of other high-end salons.
Wanting to appeal to the professional woman, who prides herself on looking good, we devised a sophisticated and elegant brand identity. This was then rolled out across a variety of platforms, both on- and offline. The ‘Face of G&M’ campaign was also launched. This campaign scours the local community every year to find ‘real’ models to be the face of all its promotional material reinforcing their vision, ‘real styles for real people’.
With the first salon a real success, Gatsby & Miller are now in the process of securing their second salon. We’ll keep you posted…!
